Personal support services for individuals and families navigating life transitions, recovery, executive functioning challenges, overwhelm, and periods of feeling stuck.
At The Rusted Rock, personal support is focused on strengthening routines, communication, accountability, follow through, and daily functioning in ways that feel realistic and sustainable. Many adults and teens already understand the changes they want to make, but struggle with consistency, maintaining structure under stress, or turning insight into action. The goal is not perfection, but steady progress that can be maintained over time. Collaboration with outside providers also supports communication, continuity, and long term stability.
Rooted in a collaborative, grounded, and practical approach, the work centers on rebuilding stability, growing self trust, and moving through life with greater clarity and connection.
Meet the Founder
Rachel Marshall is the founder and Personal Support Specialist behind The Rusted Rock. As a person in long-term recovery, her experiences navigating substance use, anxiety, relationships, and major life transitions shape a grounded, practical, and relationship-centered approach. With a background in recovery coaching, inpatient client care, crisis intervention, and family support, Rachel brings both lived and professional experience into her work.
Her style is honest, easygoing, and centered on meeting people where they are — whether over coffee, on a trail, in an office, or online. Rachel works closely with individuals and families during periods of transition, overwhelm, recovery, or feeling stuck, with an approach rooted in accountability, connection, and community that supports realistic, sustainable change. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, spending time with her husband and cats, and cycling in the Pan-Mass Challenge in memory of her father, who strongly supported her recovery journey.
